Caterina co-founded Flickr, almost certainly the best photo sharing company in the world, and Hunch, which developed foundational AI algorithms to power recommendations and was acquired by eBay. She served as Chairman of Etsy (NASDAQ:ETSY), and serves on the board of The Sundance Institute, Public Goods and McSweeneys. Prior to Yes VC she was Founder Partner at Founder Collective (early investors in Uber, Pillpack, Buzzfeed and others). She is an investor in Etsy, Kickstarter, Cloudera, Blue Bottle Coffee and many other companies.

Jyri co-founded Jaiku, a mobile social network acquired by Google; and Ditto, a recommendations app acquired by Groupon. He is an early investor in Unity (NYSE:U), Oura, Iceye and many other companies. Prior to co-founding Yes VC with Caterina he was on the investing team at True Ventures (early investors in Peloton, Ring, WordPress and others).

Julie was COO at Google spinout Coord and worked on the Finance & Operations team at True Ventures. She is the Founding member of the CxO community and was responsible for FP&A and BizOps at Namely (Sequoia, Matrix). At EY, she supported corporate clients on transactions. Julie is a UC Santa Barbara graduate and went to Taipei International School, and is an investor in AssemblyOSM and others.

Markus was formerly an investor at global VC firm, Headline. He has extensive experience in fundraising, marketing, and growth building, both in the venture capital and private equity industries. Markus also has an expansive international network and a deep understanding of the B2G category. He was an early backer and advisor to ReOrbit, a European space software innovator. Markus is an event collaborator on Slush, as well as several other prominent tech events. He is also an Angel Investor & Advisor at Arctic Startup, a Nordic startup media and event company.

Beth is an experienced operator across the big tech, startup, and now, venture capital industries. She was an early team member on the Google for Education team, was on the global Airbnb Plus launch team, and worked to centralize US & Canada courier operations at Uber Eats. Beth joined high growth healthcare startup, Calibrate, during seed round and built several operations teams from the ground up. Beth received her BA from Columbia University in Sociology and her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

David grew up in Hong Kong and attended Harvard, where he was President of the Harvard China Forum. He worked at Uber, where he set up Uber’s Las Vegas operation, and Nauto, where he helped raise $159 million in investment from Greylock and Softbank. He is Co-Founder & CEO of Yes VC portfolio company Para, building a better gig economy. David is an investor in OneSignal, Vori, Avenue8, and others.
